A Song for XX(1999)

(A female pop singer who represents Japan in the 2000s. At that time, it was widely taken up by the media as a high school girl's charisma, and exaggeratedly, there was no day when her face and songs could not be heard on TV. Her songs are electronica, trance, pop rock, etc., which contradicts the light mellow values. However, it may be no exaggeration to say that the 14th song of this 1st album, "from your letter," is Ayumi Hamasaki's AOR. A mellow club jazz style with a feeling of floating, a gem that is reminiscent of Naoko Gushima's 1st album, etc., but when only the melody is extracted, it is the usual pops. There is no other light mellow song by Ayumi Hamasaki other than this song.At that time, tens of thousands of Japanese people bought this album, and I was impressed to think that they were accustomed to light mellow songs without a plot.)

City pop from the '90s and '00s that has completely become an air pocket in the shadow of the glorious '70s and '80s classics. It's a blog like a corner of the box where I relentlessly dig for CDs that are sold at 90% off at Bookoff or Hard Off. It's a group of people who have similar interests and write together. Occasionally we have events. The name was borrowed from the concept of "Light Mellow" advocated by music writer Toshikazu Kanazawa.
